Day +5

Day +5 numbers:

WBC: 2.3 (down)

ANC: 940 (down)

Hgb: 7.9 (down)

Platelets: 79 (down)

Jeremy has been in Oakland over the last week while I was home with the girls. I flew back last night and Jeremy flew back to Portland this morning.  ZiLong is doing great. His numbers seem to be coming down more slowly than normal, but the medical team did not seem super concerned about it this morning when I asked.

It was determined the best place to store soccer balls was on the IV pole...

Over the last week there has been a bit of school, lots of nintendo switch bowling and golf, a bit of boba tea from boba tea kits (because he cannot have fresh boba tea if it did not come from a package), and lots of Trader Joes soup dumplings and baozi, and noodle bowls!

There have also been a few packages coming from friends cheering ZiLong on- we are so grateful and he is enjoying all of the fun new games and activities!

Yesterday he did some science homework and today he did some math homework.  And perhaps the best thing of all, he was moved to a larger room!  Apparently it's the largest room on the floor- and it comes complete with two windows, one of which has a direct view of the helicopter landing pad! We had fun watching a helicoptor come in last night and land!
