We are getting into the hard days now, but ZiLong is handling it really well. I know it's hard on him but he is sleeping a lot and perks up when visitors come. The mucositis makes it so that he really does not want to eat, but the pain medications are going around the clock and keeping his pain from being unbearable. Because his platelets were under 20 and his hemoglobin was under 7, he received both blood and platelets today.
He was also excited to have Ana come to visit! Ana received her transplant a year ago and was back for her 1 year post visit. These two have been Transfusion buddies since ZiLong joined our family 6.5 years ago, so it was really nice to have a visit from Ana! I'll include a photo from when they were both so much smaller than now!
