While ZiLong got a platelet transfusion yesterday, it did not give him enough of a bump to stay over that threshold of 20 they want, so he had another platelet transfusion today.  

His mucositis is definitely worse today. He was out of bed a little this morning, but then slept all afternoon and we have been working to manage his pain most of the day.  He just got the "spit sucker" (I'm sure there is a better name, but I don't know what it is) which makes him much happier.  Because the sores are all down his throat, it really hurts even to just swallow his own spit, so this allows him to suck it out of his mouth instead of swallowing. It's basically the same exact thing as the dentists office has.

He was happy to have Maddie and Jeremy and the hospital today and Maddie was enjoying making up "Partner yoga where the partner sits in a chair"

Lots of sleep today, and lots of meds, and some tough spots.  It's going to be a hard week, we appreciate all of the thoughts, prayers, well wishes and good juju sent his way.
