We were at one of the Aunties houses recently and Emme had a microphone that all the kids had fun taking turns singing into. When we got home, we told Jeremy about how much fun Maddie had, so out came the real microphone...

The song she is singing is a Happy new year song that we sang for Chinese New Year...and nearly every other week of the year...!
The 3 kids have chinese class together every Saturday, so they are pretty tight with each other, can you tell? Maddie, Daniel and Sammy pretty much adore each other- Daniel intermittently wants to hug Maddie and hold her hand and not touch her....Maddie gets all glossy eyed if she gets to hold Sammy or Daniel's hand, Sammy is just rushing at life full throttle all the time, so he is happy all the time!
Our dear friend Chris brought Maddie some chopsticks from Hawaii- they are fantastic! I've since figured out you can order them from Amazon- they have rings so the kids know just where to place their fingers. She gets them right EVERY TIME! We love them!
