Another day of platelet transfusions. Because of his reaction yesterday, the Doctor wanted to do two reduced volume platelet transfusions. Unfortunately this meant benadryl twice instead of just once, but no adverse reaction this time. He also had a blood transfusion because they want to keep his hemoglobin above 8 due to the VOD. It was a pretty mellow day with a high spot of Jeremy flying in this morning, and he managed to get ZiLong to get up and fly paper airplanes in the hallway and play soccer in the hallway for a little bit! This was the first time he has left the room in a week and a half, and it was great to see him feeing so much perkier!
Jeremy got to meet Ahbi for the first time too (and Hania!), and Ahbi worked her magic and got some belly rubs out of Jeremy!
