A few more pictures from Fuzhou

This was a woman practicing Tai Chi at the Renmin Park (People's Park) near my hotel in Fuzhou. There were all varieties of Tai Chi going on, some with fans, some with swords, some with drums, some with sticks...it's really quite wonderful to watch!

These two women seemed to be just drumming on their own, although there was a Tai Chi group nearby. I don't know if one was teaching the other or if this was "standard practice Tai Chi"??A very cute (and not so shy!) little prince of China! His mom was very excited to have his photo taken!

A slightly more shy little girl- there were too many parents around to get a clear shot, but it was quite sweet as the balloon woman had lowered all the balloons to just over this little girls head. For those of you who have only heard the rumors, it's true- Japan may be the land of the rising sun, but China is the land of the rising MOON! Here you go...life in the land of split pants!!! This was in the food court of the shopping mall...
