The Toolbox Pics-for Real this time

Okay, now Blogger is letting me upload pics just fine. No clue why it wouldn't work before, but now it is working. Here is our week 1 toolbox team! Complete with some toolboxes in hand...We have spent the last week (and will spend next week as well) organizing about 70,000 pages into over 2000 binders which will be sent to 70 locations around the world. Jane (below) is "on loan" from one of our footwear Factories- she has been a great help! (and also has a sweet tooth, so she was quite appreciative of the halloween Candy that made it to China with me this week!)
From Left to Right- is Christy (who works with me in Portland), Aming- "on loan" from one of our Leather suppliers this week, Jane, Federico, Lotus, and Linda.
Busy busy busy putting spines in books! This is a HUGE project that used to happen in Portland, and we are transferring the process to China. So this week has been teaching the China team how we have done it in the past, so they can continue to do it going forward. We have been preparing for this all summer, starting in June, and we really are amazed the time has finally come & it will be "officially" transferred!!! Everyone did a great job this week. Aming (below) is 18, and I do believe he is powered by Coke. This boy moves at the speed of lightening. Fortunate too, since the leather supplier he works with made lots of mistakes & we had him there to help fix them!
