I had a very sweet surprise upon my arrival late Wednesday night to my hotel in Taichung- this giant fruit basket from my friend Jady. It's filled with local specialty fruit that is so perfectly ripe, you can't imagine the taste compared to what you normally get in a grocery store. One of the sweet things about coming to Asia is the fruit is so wonderfully ripe and tastes so much better, because it grows here, and it ripens on the plants instead of in a boat or plane. It was a wonderful welcome! Thank you Jady!
