Halloween with the Village

Sharon, Heidi & I went to Cindy's house this year for Halloween to accompany she & Dumpling trick or treating. Dumpling had a "pre-trick-or-treating tutorial" so she was READY when it came time to go!

Heidi won 'best dressed Auntie" award. (Possibly because she was the only Auntie dressed in anything halloween-ish!!!)
The very first door...
Scary goblins out on Halloween...Right after the first door....Dumpling knew how to get down to business...that's right, bag over the shoulder, and hurry onto the next house with a light!!!
And this was without even tasting the candy! Sheer joy by the 4th or 5th house, that jumping off the steps was an order!!! Cannot believe all you have to do is knock on a door, say "treat" (she missed out on the "trick or" part...or did she?!!!) and into your bag goes CANDY!!! Double treats from the Piano teacher a few houses down...who also oohed and ahhed over Dumplings lovely long fingers & told her to come back in a couple of years...
A meeting of the similarly costumed...I am not sure if Dumpling had more fun trick or treating or meeting other kids at the door after we all got back to Cindy's house. She was quite intent on showing me her chocolate goodness- don't let that face fool you though, she was giggling and laughing right up until it came time to show the chocolate, then...there is no kidding around when it comes to photography and chocolate! She was SO serious! (and of course, had to see the photo afterwards!!!)
